From Swab To Support
You've sent your swab. Here's what's next. Our clinical team takes it from here and we’ll guide you every step of the way.
1. Account Setup
After ordering, you'll be invited to our secure online portal to create your child's profile and finish enrollment.
2. Collecting Your Sample
A sample collection kit with simple instructions for a painless cheek swab will arrive in the mail. Return your child’s sample to our CLIA/CAP accredited lab using the provided pre-paid packaging. Once your sample arrives we’ll notify you that testing is underway. Results are typically available in ~4 weeks, delivered through our secure app.
3. Your Genetic Insights Consult
Once results are available you’ll be invited to schedule a results consultation with your Genetic Counselor. During this call your Genetic Counselor will review results, present a clinical action plan, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Follow up counseling is available.
4. Post-Appointment Support
